The masthead seems to have stopped working in Internet Explorer. (Another reason to hate Microsoft.) I'm posting this from work -- my first remote post, hope it works! -- so bear with me till I can get home and try to fix it.
And I'm still desperately seeking a solution to my comments/style sheet problem. Anyone?

This just a guess since I'm not familiar with how blogger.com works exactly. But, I'll take a stab.
The stylesheet reference in your main blog page is relative to a file called "3col_leftNav.css" (there are actually two other absolute stylesheet reference, but I assume that these are blogger.com dictated and that 3col_leftNav.css is the one that you designed to get your "look"). Well, on your archive, comments page, this relative link no longer works. Those pages are located in different, sub-directories (which you can tell by looking at the url). So, when they try to call that css file they can't find it/use it because it "lives" in a your main directory, two or three levels up.
I suggest just recoding the link to that stylesheet so that it is an absolute link as well: http://www.patiastephens.com/3col_leftNav.css.
