The photo on the left was taken Oct. 6, 2004, just before getting my braces on. The photo on the right was taken today, eight days after lower jaw advancement.
I think the difference is noticeable, but very subtle. What do you think?

Very cool, Patia -- subtle, but better. Hope you're recovering OK - not too much discomfort...?
I can see the difference in the lower part of your mouth. Looks good!
Definitely can see a difference. Looks good! Hope you're feeling okay.
Looks good, Patia - and you look relaxed & tan too!
All is well if you are comfy, girl.
Thanks, y'all.
No, I'm not in much pain. During the whole process, the worst of the pain was like a bad headache. Now I'm either pain-free or mildly achy when I chew or talk too much. Not bad at all.
I'm back at work today, which is fine, except I'm talking too much!
Looks like something way beyond surgery and braces and losing weight. It looks like you have something good going on with yourself.
More power to you, keep it up!
Awwwww, Granny, thank you! That's so sweet.
I think it's probably just better lighting, but hey, who am I to argue?
:-)
I think you look pretty damn good,
girl.(But then I thought that pre-
suregery too)
Thanks, Theo!
