A Drivel Runs Through It

What is it with women and pillows?
I have six pillows on my bed in various shapes and sizes. That's not including the pillowtop mattress or the down comforter. (Or the two cats.)

I realize this is excessive, but I can't seem to help myself. I know many other women are the same way. Are pillows some kind of survival strategy hardwired into the female brain? Is it a DNA-level trait -- or some kind of psychological weakness? Am I a compulsive comfort-seeker?

It is a good question. And it is nice to see that women are sometimes as befuddled by their habits as we men are. My advice, listen to the disciples John and Paul when they say:

Let it be, let it be
Let it be, let it be
Whisper words of wisdom
Let it be

Befuddlement is like, totally a stage in enlightenment. Right between ice cream and popcorn.

Pillows are our way of reminding ourselves that softer is indeed better. Defy THAT logic, mankind!

I'd rather be fuddled than be muddled.

But if I get to choose, I'll pick be cuddled.

I think you two have it figured out pretty well :) Thank you for the laughs. I'm sure that somewhere in there is a bit of nirvana.
