Queen For A Day

Oh, who am I kidding? I'm a queen every day. But today I dusted off my tiara and wore it around the office in observance of my upcoming birthday. "Let them eat cake," I said, and it was done.

Hi, I found your site through Maureen. Love the tiara and am impressed that you wore it at the office. LOL

Checked out the "Skinny" vidio...I thought it was great, it's fun to chuckle so early in the morning.

Yes, a very happy birthday wish from me too, oh queen of Brantly and beyond.

Hope you're enjoying the break as much as I am (full tummy, not thinking (too much) about impending work, etc).

Let's see,
Apres moi, le deluge? - nope
L-etat c'est moi? - nope

I think you picked the right thing to say!

Well, I did go ahead and miss it. But, checking back at Verb-Ops for November 17, I see that we're even. Except that now you have to catch up--

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

(You missed being Scorpio by hours! Drag!)

Thanks, all, for the birthday wishes!

Neva, it's true, I can't deny it. ;-)

Pam, thanks for stopping by and commenting. :-)

Heron, happy belated!

Thanks, Ann! "HRH Patia," I like the sound of that.

Granny, I can only hope I'll grow old as fiercely as you.

Justin, one of these days we really ought to do lunch. Food Zoo?

Mike, resté la, mon petit chou. ;-)

Rick, I'm very content being a Saggitarius, but thank you. And happy belated birthday to YOU!

Mike, that should be "reste la," with accents.

Self-important, moi? Non!

Happy belated birthday...Mine is at the end of this month. I may well steal the tiara idea.

Thanks, Laurie, and happy bday to you, too. I say, if you have enough attitude to pull off a tiara, go for it! :-)

laissez-les manger du chou

I recently watched "Singing in the Rain" with the French soundtrack. After awhile, the mind tricks itself into thinking it understands, but really not. (my French is approximately nil.)

(It's cool that the songs are dubbed into French as well: Je chante sous la pluie (according to babelfish ;-)

Mon chou d'amour, it is so nice to see a man who isn't worried about proving his masculinity!
