That's really awesome. I think it's interesting that the optical illusion that makes the moon look so big fools the camera too. There is probably a simple explanation for it, I'm just not smart enough to know it. Great picture, Patia.

We were driving home the other day and I couldn't believe how HUGE the moon looked. It was right over the Columbia range, and I kept wondering how it must look at the top of the mountain.

yeah, love a big moon in the morning. keith and i always argue over the reason it appears so much larger...but I haven't looked it up.
