My August “vacation” from blogging, Twitter and Facebook was delicious. It was so delicious that I don’t want to come back.
After more than six years (11 counting my HTML days), I’ve decided to almost-but-not-quite quit blogging. I am burned out. I’ve blogged about everything under the sun, and I’m starting to repeat myself. My heart’s just not in it anymore. Plus, I need to focus my energy on making a living.
This site isn’t going anywhere, and I’ll still post photos. It’s also possible some text will sneak in once in awhile. And who knows what the future holds? Maybe I’ll get inspired and return in some form or another.
I’m also going to stay off Twitter until further notice. Twitter is fun and occasionally even useful, but when it comes down to it, I’d rather read a book. I’ll still be on Facebook, though. I enjoy keeping in touch with my friends and sharing bits of our lives.
