Before leaving the University of Montana in January 2008 to pursue a freelance career, I was managing editor of the University’s weekly email newsletter, TGIF, and the UM Style Guide.

I led a major lexicographical update of the UM Style Guide in 2006. |
I have continued to copy edit numerous UM publications, including the President’s Report, the Montanan, Vision, Research View and Main Hall to Main Street. I was managing editor of the spring 2010 issue of the UM Foundation’s newsletter, Raising Montana.
I also wrote and edited hundreds of news releases during my years at UM. I am extremely well-versed in AP Style and familiar with Chicago Style.
